Signing by vendors is great, we quite long have used it in linux spell.
Signing
all grimoires and sorcery is great. I only do not agree that signing by Source
Mage developers "greatly enhanced level of security over md5" (your last
sentence).
Do not we believe in Perforce? Do not we believe in HISTORY files?

And how will we check "gnupg"? Will it be placed in basesystem and install
iso?
