This bug seems to cover several things:
Do we want a db of hardware for anything? If so, what exactly?
Perhaps hardware detection, but we don't have anything close to workable
hardware detection. A new bug should be created for this topic if there is
desire to discuss it.
Do we want a bash db lib for anything? If so, what exactly?
This may be of use to simplify and reduce code redundancy when dealing with
the
packages and depends files. This should be discussed in another bug sunce it
is
not necessarily directly related to system level config variable.
The ability for other spells to find out what config answers were given in
another spell:
See bug 6811.
Do we need a lib for loading conf files?
If not, I would suggest we close this bug.
