k8 is in gcc 3.4 which is in the devel grimoire, the only x86_* users i know
of
use it.
I think there was another bug to move the x86_* archspecs to k8 no one spoke
up
about the problem. (but it was changed last august)
Anyways, theres a sorcery menu to add more options to the CFLAGS/CXXFLAGS
which
easily works around the problem for the few people who use these processors
and
dont use gcc 3.4.
We could either add other archspecs that have compatibility with gcc3.3, like
x86_32_gcc3.3 for those who use gcc3.3. Or on the other hand we could fix the
archspecs then open another bug for fixing them whenever 3.4 goes into test,
but
it might seem equally inconvenient to have archspecs that are wrong.
