Summary: apprentice
Product: Sorcery
Version: Feature Request
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: Unknown
AssignedTo: sm-sorcery-bugs AT lists.ibiblio.org
ReportedBy: sorcerer AT flamesnyper.com
We used to have a feature called apprentice that was basically a set of
aliases
of commonly used system commands. When the alias was run, if the command was
not
installed by a spell, it would ask if you wanted to cast the spell that
provided
you with that command.
It sure made my life easier when I was moving from RedHat to SMGL...
If we were to re-create this, should we ask a question during the install, or
simply make it part of the base system?
