If you are using parallel compilation this already happens, if an error occurs
in make the number of make jobs are lowered to one and it runs again in the
hope
that it'll fix it. I've found now and then that this allows you to do
debugging
of the build process, especially for large builds. I'd like to see an option
which allows you to rerun make as long as it exits with an error. Not a very
large deal for me though, I'm usually able to fix the problem in the first
try ;-)
