-------
I have found this in latest devel sorcery too.
I just installed ntp, told it not to install the xinetd file or the
initscript
and ended up with ntp service running at next boot anyway, from xinetd, and the
(disabled) initscript in /etc/init.d/runlevels/%3/ anyway.
I don't like that sorcery asks for user input and then ignores it completely.
I don't want this to turn into another guerilla war but sorcery should honour
the choices of the user. it shouldn't install initscripts if the user doesn't
want them (even if they have been disabled) and it definitely shouldn't
install
xinetd files unless the user wants them, as xinetd will offer any service it
finds in /etc/xinetd.d regardless of the files permissions.
