Summary: /usr/lib/emusicdlm/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.3' not
found
Product: Sorcery
Version: Devel
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Sorcery
AssignedTo: sm-sorcery-bugs AT lists.ibiblio.org
ReportedBy: zach AT zta-tech.com

Get errors while running "sorcery update" or "sorcery rebuild" along the
lines of:
tr: /usr/lib/emusicdlm/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.3' not found (required by
tr)

This happens for grep, rm, sed, tac, etc. It does not happen in cast or
scribe. I have attached the super
debugging mode output.

To fix, I just deleted /usr/lib/emusicdlm (emusicdlm is a program, binary
only, that I installed.).

Dufflebunk's initial assesment:
<dufflebunk> Ah ha, it looks like the check that sorcery performs is the
culprit. The check starts with adding
all the libs to the LD_SOMETHING.
<dufflebunk> Note that the call to export_ld may be the problem.
