As some of you have noticed theres been a small influx of bugs
prometheus-generated bugs in the recent week.
First off I want to give my deepest thanks to the hardworking guru's who
have continued to make the codex bug count decrease faster than three
prometheus boxes have been able to find them. Good job!
Ive added a feature in recent history so that I can keep track of what
spells have been cast, and how many times they've been cast.
To make a long story short I've got an often updated listing of spells,
and the number of times they've successfully cast that is periodically
updated (once an hour) up at ftp://t.armory.com/spell-stats
If you're curious what spells have gotten tested and seem to work,
they are up there. If the spell isn't on there, it might have gotten
tested, but failed (at which point there should be a bug about it),
or a dependency of it failed previously and it was skipped. Alternatively
its already installed on my prometheus box (ie postfix).
Of course I only have so much hardware, so the only sections that have
gotten any sort of attention (after I added this feature) are: xfce,
video, doc, perl-cpan, kde, gnome1-libs, utils, and printer.
For vague amusement value the current leader in successful casts is jpeg,
perhaps one of the most depended upon spells.
Eventually I'll have some more interesting statistics, a web gui and all
sorts of things, but for now this is a simple indicator of spell activity.
Cheers,
Andrew
