There are some things you need to do, but those aren't smgl specific:
- compile devpts in the kernel and mount it (devpts /dev/pts
devpts defaults 0 0 in fstab)
- cast module-init-tools if you want to use modules
- if you still have shm mounted on /dev/shm, change that to tmpfs
mounted on /dev/shm (for posix shared memory, don't know if anything
actually uses that)
recasting glibc is only needed to install the fixed kernel headers, and
to maybe switch to nptl glibc (don't do this if you still want to be able to
boot a 2.4 kernel)
