the xfree86-devel spell has support for 2.6
this is not a devel spell error though I think, I saw it when I was working
on
xdirectfb recently.
I fixed it for xdirectfb (doesn't use dri or drm) see BUILD
but for you I think if you turn on dri but leave drm off then it will build
fine. I built 4.3.99.901 before I submitted it and I do have dri on but drm
off
#define DriDrivers /**/
#define BuildXF86DRI YES
#define BuildXF86DRM NO
the only other noticeable difference in my host.def file is I also build vga
and vesa drivers, but I don't think that would cause it.
Imake is a son of a bitch, IMO if you undefine the wrong thing and the whole
dependency structure comes crashing down. It takes me hours to solve any
problems in those spells.
