Sorry it took so long to reply. My puter has been offline due to house
painting.
In answer to your questions below:
I have lesstif-0.93.41 installed but made no option changes to cast j2sdk
that you
supplied. So I guess if motif bundled pieces are installed by default then I
probably used it.
I am on kernel 2.4.22 with xfs patch.
I forgot to get output of /proc/meminfo but noticed that I had a number
of spaces that caused incorrect details to be returned. this is why
'-f4' works for me.
