this is the time for my cast of openoffice, using a custom build file that
allows multiple jobs in some modules and use of distcc/ccache for those
modules too.
I have just put it into test, in a subdir of the standard spell. Just manually
move the BUILD file into the openoffice dir and it will be used.
It also updates the version of freetype(to 2.1.5), openssl(to 0.9.7c), and
Python (to 2.3.2) that comes with openoffice (only if sources for them are
found in /var/spool/sorcery). I tried some other updates but API changes and
dmake/makefile issues stopeed them working. (I would still like to update the
mozilla, Sablot sources and get it to correctly use the system version of
STLport, time and luck permitting :)

Another thing that might be able to speed thing up a bit, if you've gotten it to work w/ the latest freetype, openssl, and python, if the person has them already installed, would it be possible to to use what's already installed rather than compiling those again?

I'll look into STLport. You gave me an idea on something to check out.

Geoff
