Hi!

I'd like to upgrade apache2 to 2.1.0 when it's out (this or next week) at least in devel, unless there're objections. The big change between 2.0 and 2.1 and is the AAA system (authentication, authorization, access control) which would require changes in the confguration files. Any modules specifically using 2.0's AAA interfaces will not compile in 2.1. I'm running 2.1 series Apache for months now and it's as stable as it gets.
Alternatively, I can keep apache2 at 2.0.x and use httpd-dev for 2.1 series, but it's quite problematic because Apache 2.0 is going to forever use APR 0.9 series, while 2.1 will use the latest, to become APR 1.0.
So, in short, I propose to use apache 2.1, apr 1.0, and apr-utils 1.0, for devel, and then for test if the testing is successful. It's a signature software, after all :-). Please let me know what do you think.
Cheers!

Sergey.
