Very unfortunate, you would have noticed how i requested feedback on the idea.

Honestly ? i think it is vitally important to respond, at the right time. You
say "my opinion was already voiced by others" but unless you actually reply
no-one knows if one person disagrees or 200.
As for a poll ? Sure why not ! We would have to announce the existence of the
poll for those who don't browse the site regularly which would mean using the
mail lists and IRC. And if many people, like you did, don't vote "because my
opinion was already voiced by others" then there is no better result than we
have at the moment.
Now if you all reread my previous posts you will see that i have been
"trying"
to provoke discussion on this since i originally made the proposal.
I now more than ever believe we have made a good decision.
Test is having bugs fixed directly in it and stable is months more uptodate
than it was.
The following is a diff i just took between devel and test workspaces on my
machine. There were some minor differences in builds and history due to
integration editing that i have not bothered to show and some relocation of
spells due to <section>-libs being formed (you paranoid freaks can check for
yourself if you want.) These are the only version differences between devel
and test right now. You would have to ask the people who submitted the update
to devel why they haven't been integrated into test.
I dont think this would be possible if we were still maintaing three seperate
grimoires even if we had 4 times the developers.

I am finished now, however wants a poll can organise it. Just post to this
list so i know to vote. I don't regularly check the forums, i am normally
busy hunting bugs.
