This is not correct way. AFAIK the system installed motif will cause java
plugins and java to crash.(one of the LFS patches fixes this normally) But
the libXM.a not found is probably due to a gencat error from
motif/lib/Xm/util/mkmsgcat.c(open the compile log in an editor and do a case
sensitive search for "Error", first hit will probably be the one you want). I
have a patch for this , look at this bug
http://bugs.sourcemage.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3980
and get the latest copy of my personal spell. It has both the jni.cpp patch
and the mkmsgcat.c patch.
