- Subject: [SM-Grimoire] Xfree 4.3.99.7 and freetype2

Hi All!
I've committed a patch to bring XFree86 to version 4.3.99.7, and one of the good things that happenned with it is that my fonts look even better and operate correctly in several applications (in GNOME). For example, font preview is back in the Fonts preferences dialog.
I have the following suggestion regarding freetype2 and xfree86 spells. They both essentially provide "freetype" library, so wouldn't it be more logical to make them `provide freetype' and make all the spells `require freetype' instead of `depends freetype2'? I've altered my working copies of grimoires locally to behave like that, and I've dispelled freetype2 (I've been having font problems ever since it became 2.5 anyway). If something needs freetype2 but not XFree (a Web server using PHP to serve images), let it be. If there are no objections, I'll create a bug for this.
Happy 4th of July to our U.S. audience!
