IMHO the proper thing to do is first to ask the user whether the lines
should be added. If it is desired the spell should add the line(s),
surounded by comments marking the line(s) as automatically added. On
removal the spell could then check for these coments, and remove
anything in between (one may want to check if the option was chosen
during the cast, for sanity). Perhaps the cast part should also check
for the line(s) to avoid dublicating them.

Does this sound like a reasonable behavior?
