- Subject: [SM-Grimoire]prboom with p4
- Date: Thu, 5 Dec 2002 23:21:48 -0800
when i cast prboom and have my optimization set for a pentium4, the
build breaks when it tries to deal with a movd instruction. I think
this is because the build happens to use nasm which cant handle pentium
4 assembler. I swapped the optimizations down to i686 and everything
compiled correctly. Has anyone else had this happen? Ive also seen the
same error with quakeforge. Is there a function to bump the compiler
flags back to their gcc 2 equivalent? or is there another way to do this?
