Yes. Big difference. Stable is still using gcc 2.95.3 and glibc 2.2.5.
Other than that the spells are up to date. I will be upgrading stable to
gcc 3.2 etc soon, but I hope it will be a fairly smooth migration. It's
better to do it pre-r1.0 than afterwards to avoid changing too many
things at once.

Stable grimoire is also *not* compatible with the latest sorcery builds
(no USEGCC2 support, no codex, no scribe etc.). It's (IIRC) sorcery
0.8.2 - not perfect, but reliable.
