I would agree with the test update Eric. Break the freeze, but do it carefully. There have been several small version bumps that could fix a lot of the bugs (gcc 3.2.1, etc) and it would make sense to pull them in. Sorcery will not go 1.0 until it is rock solid and all the texts are updated, etc. It's getting there, but it makes sense to hold out longer until its even better. So Nick and Dufflebunk - Good luck, and keep up the good work. :)

Tony,
I am using the same url's I have been. They are:
ftp://ftp.smee.org/pub/sgl/<branch>/sorcery.tar.bz2
This is likely the old version, as there is still a conversion in the
script to codex compatible grimoire.tar.bz2 files.
I will update the script per the new urls.
Thanks for the update. :)
And as far as cvs / p4 - ok. I know we've discussed it, but I was not clearI know that nick has been really busy with sorcery and giving that priority is
on what Eric had done at this point. It's up to Eric as to how it happens,
when it happens, etc. I will stay out of it.
the right thing to do. I know several guru's have asked him about setting up
accounts (some have accually got it done) and others are working on it. Some
sections have been updated and some have not... what is updated is added to
our sync scripts and what is not stays that way (also because some guru's
prefer perforce).
I have taken the stance to wait until 1.0 is out, then bump all over to cvs...
seems the most logical way... keep the focus on 1.0 for now. For example, I
would not mind pulling large parts of the devel grimoire into test and
announcing a new 2 week testing push before the REAL 1.0 release. There has
been such a lag that I think using the current test will give us alot of
outdated (many version bumps over the last weeks will be missed) stuff if our
release happens in december?
