Sorry about the MPlayer bit. I was busy in a financial/legal squabble,
and pre9 had reported issues so I was waiting for some affirmative "pre10
solved it for me" communiques. The pre8 in test seems to be quite stable.
But now that pre10 seems to be working for everybody, I'll get my ass in
gear and submit it to devel.
I'm also a big sourceforge.net url offender, too :). but at least _every_
md5 is correct. :)
I thought we were supposed to concentrate on test? :)
But I agree, more people, more gurus per section would be nice to have, so
that the people who have strings of free time and strings of not-so-free
time can be effective gurus.
We have, what 1600 spells, and Debian has 9000, but they have 1000
maintianers. We have like thirty, which means 9:1 versus about 50:1. If
we had five times as many volunteers, we'd be in a hell of a lot better
shape, not to mention source-distros are exponentially more complex than
binary-only distros. :).
Not everybody volunteering is a college student with tons of free time on
their hands :)
