uhm, did you read my post? save your /lib libraries into /tmp/lib, add a
line in /etc/ld.so.conf for /tmp/lib run ldconfig. then when
prepare_install happens (it tries to remove your old glibc), you wont
lose all those libraries (and be unable to run anything) because they
are still backed up in /tmp for you.
