Indeed, this was my case :-/
Recompiled my kernel without this option, but my /dev ended up being totally
empty.
I copied most of it back, but I think I got the permissions wrong.
Now some apps (eg: konsole) fail complaining about not being able to open
pseudo-terminals and stuff like that.
Anybody can help me on this one?
( "/dev" could be a handy spell... )
