Seem to have all of a sudden hit a wall with latest 2.5.xx kernel :(
It appears to keep telling me that there are undefined variables / functions.
eg: gcc -Wp,-MD,drivers/pnp/.compat.o.d -D__KERNEL__ -Iinclude -Wall
-Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-trigraphs -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer
-fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common -pipe -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2
-march=athlon -Iarch/i386/mach-generic -nostdinc -iwithprefix include
-DKBUILD_BASENAME=compat -DEXPORT_SYMTAB -c -o drivers/pnp/compat.o
drivers/pnp/compat.c
drivers/pnp/compat.c: In function `pnp_find_card':
drivers/pnp/compat.c:39: `isapnp_cards' undeclared (first use in this
function)
drivers/pnp/compat.c:39: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
drivers/pnp/compat.c:39: for each function it appears in.)
make[2]: *** [drivers/pnp/compat.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [drivers/pnp] Error 2
make: *** [drivers] Error 2
cp: cannot stat `arch/i386/boot/bzImage': No such file or directory
Any help would be appreciated :)
I tried removing the option for pnp stuff in kernel but then error just
appears in another file referring to a different undefined variable /
function
