Actually, Neal Birch has been working on a library which will do something
similar. As I didn't want to step on his tows, duplicate his efforts or
break something he was doing, I have been waiting on him to fix the cups
problem. I should be able to complete it this weekend.

I personally don't like the idea of triggering init.d for cups and risk it
breaking networking or mount, so I'm going to manually install the init
script using Neal's work.
