While looking for a German kde-i18n spell, it occurred
to me that instead of having 50+ spells for each language
we could have just two:
kde-i18n (which installs the whole whopping 100 megs)
kde-i18n-auto (which magically autodetects the language
of the system and installs the appropriate
kde-i18n-xx file)
The only problem I see is people who want at least two
i18n packages and do not want the whole package.
What do you think?
Peter
P.S.: Automagical detection is ${LANG:0:2} plus some
if-then-else-fi stuff.
P.P.S.: Why the heck does kde-i18n-xx depend on perl?
For me it worked without any camels at all.
P.P.P.S.: What should kde-i18n-auto install for en_US
systems? Nothing!?
