I just had an idea.
Suppose summon was extended, so that a script (could be called
DOWNLOAD) in the spell could be used instead of the ordinary download
code. Then one could write a small script that uses lynx (or some
other text based browser, I just know this can be done with lynx) to
download whatever license sun wants to show us, show it to the user,
ask whether (s)he accepts it and if so download the source.
Since this is even an issue, I'm assuming that sun has something in
place to prevent us from just taking the last step. But using lynx
even HTTP POST can be automated (and I'm sure cookies can also be
done), so once the new j2sdk spell hits z-rejected I will look into
doing this. And just for the record: I'm not trying to cheat/rip off
sun, I just want it to be easy to install java on SMGL.
