Geoff,

You just use 'query', and people will manage their
delay time themselves. As for the lyn{x|ks}, they
should both support specifying URL as an argument, so
point either one at:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.1/download.html
(BTW, why don't go straight to 1.4.1? There are many
useful changes in there, and Sun's beta have proven
quite stable to our team here)
...and ask the user to click "download" word at the
crossing of items "Linux GNUZIP Tar shell script" and
"SDK". I don't know if you can specify any other nice
things to lyn{x|ks}, but I guess download location
might be nice.
