Summary: xorg drivers fail after xorg-server update (e.g. 1.4.2 -
> 1.5.2)
Product: Codex
Version: test grimoire
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: critical
Priority: P2
Component: x11
AssignedTo: sm-grimoire-bugs AT lists.ibiblio.org
ReportedBy: sandalle AT sourcemage.org

# sorcery system-update
...

xorg-server is updated. I reboot, X fails to load. The logs say they couldn't
find the driver. In my case, I recast xf86-video-ati (was previously not cast
after the update) and my X now works.

At least xf86-video-* need a TRIGGER to be recast (`cleanse --fix
xf86-video-ati` found no issue) when xorg-server is compiled, though a refined
trigger solely for a version change would be better.

Other drivers (e.g. xf86-input-*) do not seem to need a trigger (keyboard and
mouse worked fine after update and no need to recast
xf86-input-{keyboard,mouse,synaptics}).
