Yes, this is another thing, but perhaps this doesn't apply to anyone but me.
It
came up because I have a modified arch file which uses -march=core2 for GCC >
4.3
and -march=nocona for GCC < 4.3. When updating GCC from version 4.2.3 to 4.3.2
I wanted to use -march=core2 in BOOT_CFLAGS, thereby eliminating the need of
building it twice.
