Summary: libsigc++ spells have invalid names
Product: Codex
Version: test grimoire
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: libs
AssignedTo: sm-grimoire-bugs AT lists.ibiblio.org
ReportedBy: iuso AT sourcemage.org
The libsigc++* spells have misleading names. libsigc++ is 1.0.3, libsigc++2
is
1.2.7, and libsigc++3 is 2.0.17. I found no indication of this naming
convention being of upstream origin. I think these should be changed to more
appropriate ones, like libsigc++, libsigc++12 (?) and libsigc++2.
Luckily not many depending spells would need editing, at least in the test
grimoire:
$ grep -lr "depends *libsigc++2" ./
./audio-creation/cheesetracker/DEPENDS
./audio-creation/freqtweak/DEPENDS
./display/y/DEPENDS
./gnome2-apps/glademm/DEPENDS
$ grep -lr "depends *libsigc++3" ./
./ftp-libs/libtorrent/DEPENDS
./gnome2-libs/glibmm/DEPENDS
./gnome2-libs/profile-gnome2-bind-c++/DEPENDS
./graphics/inkscape/DEPENDS
./graphics/synfig/DEPENDS
./http/bfilter/DEPENDS
./net/net6/DEPENDS
