------- Additional Comments From acedit AT armory.com 2006-04-24 09:45 -------
My stake is that I don't want to be in the game of providing very specific
interfaces or features. I'd rather provide general purpose interfaces that
allow
new problems to be solved as they come up. If what sorcery provides is
insufficient to solve a problem then lets fix the interface rather than push
the
problem inside sorcery.

Also, I think theres a big difference between spells that are intended to only
work on one architecture versus things that fail on only one. The former is
usually by design (silo), whereas the latter I would tend to consider a bug.

Lastly, on the arch-specific grimoire, if theres a spell that works on some
archs but not others, we can use grimoire build scripts to take that spell
(which exists in only one place in the repository) and build it into the
various
grimoires it fits in.
