I have just pushed this branch.

it contains the latest udev-177 and kmod-4
all the udev and kmod programs install to /
kmod replaces module-init-tools

It boots for me on a system with combined / and /usr

The only problem that I see is:

$ ldd /sbin/kmod
linux-vdso.so.1 => (0x00007fffe89f5000)
libkmod.so.1 => /lib64/libkmod.so.1 (0x00007f9f01d04000)
libpthread.so.0 => /lib/libpthread.so.0 (0x00007f9f01ae7000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x00007f9f01787000)
liblzma.so.5 => /usr/lib/liblzma.so.5 (0x00007f9f01562000)
libz.so.1 => /lib/libz.so.1 (0x00007f9f0134a000)
/lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00007f9f01f18000)

I think that liblzma.so.5 should also be /lib

I don't know if systemd works

Regards, Treeve
