The issue is that A4 paper size in Kword should visually correspond to a set
of width and height proportions appropriate for this type of ISO standard,
i.e. 210,00mm width and 297,00mm height (like in this screenshot with
OpenOffice Writer [0]. Kword seems to have paper width & height set for ISO
A4 correctly but the application visually represents these proportions in a
damn wrong way [1]. A4 should visually look like this [2] (note that I
changed paper orientation to make it look like A4 in this screenshot).

Note also, that rulers, specifically the left starting margin of a horizontal
ruler, look fucked up too.

Your reply instigated to look me a bit deeper into the issue and I figured
that it might be that Kword's XML template for A4 (A4.kwt) got somehow
botched. I'm not really familiar with KWT template syntax but it looks like
there's something wrong. I'm going to recast koffice and see if that helps.

Thanks for reply and instigating me to recast koffice this early in the
morning =)
