no email address? try this one,

:) thanks!!!

even if i haven't worked on renewing the iso with a fresher tarball or
"spellified" the generation process, i am not abandoning it.

great!!! glad to know that...

I just have little time to work on it, and in the time i have i lack the
required motivation to be honest.

ok, that's fine by me. At least u're honest. :)

If you have any questions, let me know, i would probably notice irc before i
notice an email, but i will keep an eye out for newer emails.

ok, thanks.

in theory, you boot the iso and it finds your cd and mounts it on /cdrom, you
use (c)fdisk to create your disk layout, you run the enter_camelot script
passing it your /dev/ROOT and possible /dev/BOOT, which then mounts the
partition given, unpacks the tarball and chroots into it, inside you can get
grimoires, at which point a toolchain upgrade would be the next step, after
that rebuild the system.

after chrooting you could build a kernel, reboot, then upgrade toolchain and
rebuild system, it's what i did, but the CD's kernel is robust enough to keep
working on it.

hm... thanks. I'll see if i can pop by irc and get more specific
instructions if i need it.

the cd provides several screens of which the last (Screen 3) is for 'irc'ing
(has a user on this screen instead of root as main thing).

hey, cool!!! very nice...

i know this sounds crude, but as gentoo defector, i might have more had
gentoo transplants in mind, or even people switching from other distros and
able to partition and format a harddrive w/o an installer, the main goal to
be able to install a running system from this CD was achieved, it just needs
a spit shine.

hey, no problem. It's not as if we all need an installer to hand hold
us today... My only complaint would be if there was an installer...
and the installer *didnt* work!!!

I'm tired so i end it here before it turns out super rambly.

ok, no problem...
