Important update:

1) I'm proposing a Must Fix deadline of Friday. Then we have to have
the Must Fix items fixed or else risk further delays.

Arwed and I will be determining what's "must fix" for this round. I'm
ok being a bit more flexible since this grimoire is our first round of
full QA testing, but in the future don't expect that.

On Friday I'll snapshot stable-rc and compare it with the old stable-rc
and then make a list of dependencies that need to be recompiled, minus
the losers that aren't in the update list. That will be tested over the
weekend and if all goes according to plan, we'll approve it for release
(Me, Arwed, and Eric). Otherwise, we'll delay a bit until we can get
everything we want fixed.

2) I've finished triaging most the bugs except for identifying what must
be fixed, and I have some preliminary numbers in:

The stable/0.3 grimoire's run looked like this:

96 installed.lst
478 loser.lst
1431 winner.lst
1784 skipped.lst
3789 total

316 bugs in bugzilla against stable now

The stable-rc/0.4 grimoire's run looked like this:

79 installed.lst
696 loser.lst
2134 winner.lst
1326 skipped.lst
4235 total

395 bugs in bugzilla against only stable-rc now
plus 195 duplicates also found in stable :(

We're introducing bugs faster than fixing them, it looks like, however,
the ones that are being introduced are having a better overall impact on
keeping the number of skipped spells down as we have more winners as a
proportion, and a lot more spells have been added. However, prometheus
should help fix the types of problems identified and 50% more winners in
total more than outweighs the number of new bugs identified. Also note
that with fewer installed spells in the stable-rc sandbox, a number of
additional dependency issues could have been found that were new, but
also in stable. Countering that would be that stable-rc is against the
more proven x86 (even despite being a chroot) instead of the
"unsupported" x86_64 platform.
