- Subject: [SM-Discuss] modules loaded at boot
- Date: Sat, 29 Oct 2005 13:40:36 +0200
Hi all,
I'm having a problem on the fresh smgl I installed on a roomie's laptop:
2 modules are loaded during boot process (I think they are some old oss
modules, sorry can't have their names right now) and they prevent alsa
from working.
I know that because if I modprobe -r them and restart alsa then
everything works fine. So what I'd like to know is
1) How can I find out when are these modules loaded (they're not in
the /etc/modules) and why?
2) Even if I don't know what loads them, is there a way to modprobe -r
some modules automatically at boot (like one would write them in the
/etc/modules to load them, but the other way around :) ) ?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Mathieu.
