Maybe I am doing something wrong, but now three times in a row, I have ended
up with a broke system trying to install off the new ISO. I complete the
install and us the option to copy the kernel. Although I have compiled my
own during the install. Once I boot into the new system, I have to cast
linux since the kernel did not get copied and glibc will not build since it
is missing headers. So in order I:
1. Complete install.
2. Reboot system
3. Change sorcery to devel.
4. Scribe add test, scribe remove stable
5. cast -r -c linux
6. cast -r -c glibc

The glibc build dies in a similar way to this old bug:
http://bugs.sourcemage.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2069

It is just shows casting.safe vice casting and some different files not
found. Now the system in not usable. It doesn't find any files in /usr/bin,
/bin, or /sbin. If I reboot, the kernel panics when it doesn't find init.

I will write up a bug, just want to make sure I am not doing something
stupid.

This is probably a problem with the glibc package (though installing
from the 20040414 ISO sometimes works with glibc, and sometimes 0.9.3
works).

I've had this hit me a few times, and there is work on fixing it:
