hi all,

I just re-compiled mutt (cvs-version) with the sidebar-patch. It doesn't seem
to work for me but perhaps I'm doing something wrong. After casting mutt I
went to [1] and added the following configuration lines:

-----<mutt.sidebar>-----
set sidebar_width=12
set sidebar_visible=no
color sidebar_new yellow default
bind pager \CP sidebar-prev
bind pager \CN sidebar-next
bind pager \CO sidebar-open
bind pager \CU sidebar-scroll-up
bind pager \CD sidebar-scroll-down
macro index S ':toggle sidebar_visible^M'
macro pager S ':toggle sidebar_visible^M'
mailboxes =mbox =sm-announce =sm-discuss =sm-users =sm-grimoire =siks
=caughtspam =sm-security =seweb-list =ontoweb-list
-----<mutt.sidebar>-----

After starting mutt I get the following errors:

------<cut>------
Error in /home/basvg/.mutt.sidebar, line 2: sidebar_width: unknown variable
Error in /home/basvg/.mutt.sidebar, line 5: sidebar_visible: unknown variable
Error in /home/basvg/.mutt.sidebar, line 8: sidebar_new: no such object
Error in /home/basvg/.mutt.sidebar, line 25: sidebar-prev: no such function
in map
Error in /home/basvg/.mutt.sidebar, line 26: sidebar-next: no such function
in map
Error in /home/basvg/.mutt.sidebar, line 27: sidebar-open: no such function
in map
Error in /home/basvg/.mutt.sidebar, line 28: sidebar-scroll-up: no such
function in map
Error in /home/basvg/.mutt.sidebar, line 29: sidebar-scroll-down: no such
function in map
-----<paste>-----

It seems that the patch hasn't been applied. Another error is that mutt (the
status bar) claims that I have 1397 new messages:

------<cut>------
Mutt 1.5.6i: =mbox (threads) [1/1] [N=0,*=0,post=0,new=1397]
-----<paste>-----

This all strikes me as pretty odd. Am I doing something horribly wrong or
what?

Cheers

Bas
