Hey, I've just moved to the X.org Xserver, and I have a problem with it
that I suspect is user-error. Pretty much the first thing it says when
starting up is:
(==) Log file: "/var/log/Xorg.0.log", Time: Thu Jun 3 13:29:00 2004
(EE) Unable to locate/open config file
It then tries to build a default config, which doesn't quite work for my
install (it doesn't like my mouse or something). My /etc/X11 is still
full of all the stuff from XF86:
root@kallisti:/etc/X11# ls
XF86Config-4 XF86Config.old fs twm xkb
XF86Config-4.old XF86Config.old2 lbxproxy wmconfig xserver
XF86Config.def XF86Config.works proxymngr xdm xsm
XF86Config.mdk app-defaults rstart xinit
(many iterations of tuning the config :)

Should the new one be called something different or be in a different
place?
