They removed the GPL and inserted the following and a warranty disclaimer:
"This distribution may be freely distributed in its original form.
License is granted to make modifications to the source for internal,
private use only, provided you retain this notice, disclaimers, author's
copyright, and credits."
Clearly non-gpl. Suppose we need to modify the spell to reflect the new
license? Does it go into z-rejected? It's worse than the djb license,
closer to sun's scsl license, I would say...
Note that the right given is pretty standard fair use, so you don't get
any real right to modify and publish any source code changes.
We could fork it and not upgrade and link to the gpl'd version. I could
describe to somebody the change that was made (removing a log print),
and one could clean-room it back to GPL... There's really no difference
in functionality that was added. It just doesn't print to the system
log when an ip is blacklisted anymore.
