Well, that reminds me that the SiS drivers (http://www.winischhofer.net) have
different instructions when compiling for kernel 2.6.x and for kernels 2.4.x.
For 2.4.x, it was needed to have the sisfb.h file in
/usr/src/linux/include/video/, in 2.6.x, it was in
/usr/src/linux/include/linux/. I'll try your solution tomorrow.
What I did to get X to compile without DRI/DRM? I edited hosts.def, and
disabled the option there. It seems the dialog interface isn't working that
well...
