I recently rebuilt dosfstools under linux-2.6

I now get various error messages when checking a fat32 partition but
Windows98
reports that the partition is OK.
Also, running an older version of dosfstools from a linux-2.4 cd shows no
errors.

At present the mountall.sh script fails because of this, so I am unable to
access the Windows partitions.

I did notice some warnings in the compile log which may be relevant

Does any one have any suggestions?
