I've just built a 2.6.3-rc2 kernel having previously been using 2.4.24. No
other software was changed
it rebooted all the way to kde, which mostly works, except for the shells
(konsole), which don't have a prompt and don't accept input.
Switching to an alternate console works (ctrl-alt-Fn), as does typing in
kmail
and kwrite.
Do I need to rebuild, glibc, x11, qt, ... in order to solve the problem?
I would prefer to be able to dual boot with 2.4.24 for a while.
Any other ideas would be welcome
Regards, Treeve
