I don't think Rubiks cube would have any importance here either :)
could you grep /etc/sorcery for the strings in that URL ? "devel-grimoire"
codex.sourcemage.org and so on. It is never even trying the
download.sourcemage site is it ? just going straight to that URL ?
if so it would seem to be a config issue, not a "delightful feature" of
sorcery
