Hey there, I just fixed a little problem that has bothered me since I
started with Sourcemage: Mutt wouldn't pick up on new mail, always
thinking that a mailbox had new mail in it as soon as I left it.
I found that the cause of this was 'noatime' being applied to most of my
partitions, which I'm quite sure I didn't do myself. Was there a reason
for this? (Except obviously the times that noatime is supposed to be
used: performance tweaking etc). This would be a legacy of when I
installed Sourcemage however long ago (*checks* ... the first message in
~/Mail/sourcemage is dated 1/7/02...thats today a year ago :).
I also decided to take a look at the other options that where there, and
found that all my reiserfs partitions had 'notail'. Is there a reason
for this one? (I guess it may may matter on a /boot partition,
apparently it can confuse LILO a bit)
