there may be other, better solutions, but for starters try cast init.d

hope that works,

Hey there, sorry if this is old news, I had a dissertation due last week
and have yet to catch up on email.

I just rebooted for the first time in a while, and my network failed to
come up. After bringing it up manually, I had a look, and found that
/etc/init.d/networking.sh refers to /etc/sysconfig/networking, which
doesn't exist (there isn't even /etc/sysconfig). Somehow I don't think
this is the intention: how do I fix it? I'd like to not write my own
network script :)
