ok, I've got a server that was last updated during the switch to gcc 3.1.
The
other night just before the wonderful emails telling everybody *not* to
update, I went to update it. *note* this was not using devel or anything, it
went to 3.1 as 'stable' quite a while ago.. so this morning I actually go to
my remote session to do something, and lo and behold *nothing* works, that is
I get fun stuff like :
ls: relocation error: /lib/libpthread.so.0: undefined symbol:
_dl_cpuclock_offset

everything get's that libpthread error. Plus it says it has gcc 3.2 now. So
WTF can I do to save my servers, which of course is running some stuff that I
need to have up, and can't really backup now that I can't run anything! Oh
yeah, and it's a remote server, so I can't just walk up to it and throw ina
cd or anything.
