I agree on that, but the configure switch used by these lines not
existing anymore, that pushed me to delete it after all.

One could make it optional again by hacking out that stupid code
generation tool (heck ... glib+dbus!). It should also be possible to
fix the install to not need python, but perhaps not, if it wants to
install libraries/whatnot.

It's getting more and more difficult to keep a sane distro working,
with a manageable dependency tree, and at the same time follow upstream
closely. Upstream went nuts quite some time ago. I can put in the
commented optional PYHTON, but you'll have to promise hacking on glib2
to make use if it again;-)
