... well, I was plainly talking of the build parameter for the initrd that
the spell creates. It creates an image of that given size and tries to
squeeze the stuff it needs in there ... and fails (non-fatal to the cast). 2
M were not enough for that.

That ist exactly what I'm doing. I have a custom initramfs ...

It's a question of how much use this spell-generated initrd is. Perhaps
that's something better left to the linux spell? I'm wary with this stuff, as
I do my kernels all by myself, without the distro.
